Product Overview
The OPB711 is a Reflective Object Sensor consists of an infrared emitting diode and an NPN silicon phototransistor, mounted “side-by-side” on parallel axes in a black opaque plastic housing. OPB711’s, emitting diode and phototransistor is encapsulated in a filtering epoxy to reduce ambient light noise. Its phototransistor responds to radiation from the emitter only when a reflective object passes within its field of view.
