The D38999/26FA98SN from Aero Electric is MIL-DTL-38999 Series III self locking, RFI grounding plug with 3 contacts. MIL-DTL-38999 Series III connectors are newest cylindrical connectors designed for highest performance capabilities used in both general purpose and severe environment applications. Elongated mounting holes permit the Series III connectors to intermount with various existing MIL spec flange mounted receptacles, giving it a design replacement advantage. MIL-DTL-38999 Series III connectors are available in wide range of shell materials and finishes. They are designed to withstand the extreme shock, exposure and vibration.
- High reliability, moisture, corrosion and fluid resistant
- Metal to metal bottoming and superior contact stability
- Durability of 500 mating cycles and 48hr salt spray exposure
- Scoop proof to eliminate the possibility of contact damage
- Triple start threaded coupling, crimp removable and rear release
- Self locking quick coupling plug eliminates the need for lockwiring
- Operates at extreme temperature range of -65°C to +200°C
- Aluminium alloy body material with electroless nickel finish
- Copper alloy crimp socket contacts with gold plating
