CY8CKIT-148-COIL is a MagSense inductive-sensing coil breakout board designed as an easy-to-use reference design platform. The inductive sensing coil breakout board is purpose-built to be compatible with the CY8CKIT-148 PSoC™ 4700S inductive sensing evaluation kit to showcase the inductive sensing capability of the PSoC® 4700S MCUs. It features 16 total inductive sensing coils which demonstrate different performance characteristics.
- Proximity and touch detection using a single sensor
- Rotation angle detection with a rotary encoder
- Linear position encoding with two 100x8 linear encoder coils
- Horizontal gesture detection with a six-segment sensor array
- Breakout board has three metal targets
