SLEXP8019A

SLEXP8019A is a capacitive touch evaluation kit from Silicon Labs featuring the CPT213B TouchXpress controller. Designed for quick and easy evaluation, the board includes 13 capacitive touch pads, an acrylic overlay, and a USB interface for plug-and-play functionality. The kit enables rapid development of touch interfaces for appliances, consumer electronics, and industrial control panels. It is IEC 60730 Class B compliant for safety-critical applications. Developers can use Silicon Labs' Simplicity Studio software, which includes the Xpress Configurator for setting thresholds, debounce, and scan rates, and the Capacitive Sense Profiler for real-time monitoring of touch data. The kit communicates via I²C and is powered through USB, making it simple to test and configure without additional hardware.
