2097 is a 2000 series particulate filter with nuisance level organic vapor relief. It is made with proprietary Advanced Electrostatic Media (AEM) consisting of highly charged microfibers arranged in an open formation that enhance the capture of airborne particles while allowing for greater passage of air through the media. It provides respiratory protection against exposure to lead, asbestos, cadmium, arsenic, and MDA. The filter is effective for concentrations up to 10 times the Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) with half facepieces, or 50 times PEL with quantitatively fit tested full facepieces. Recommended application includes assembly & mechanical, brazing, chemical manufacturing, cleaning, composite finishing, final finish, manufacturing, metal pouring, paint preparation, painting, pesticide application, petrochemical, powder charging, powder coating, pulp & paper, remediation, sanding, soil preparation, soldering, spray coating, torch cutting, welding, wood processing.
