The 1304 is an Adafruit Micro LiPo USB lithium ion/lithium polymer charger. This is a tiny product that can fit on to project boxes and ready to safely power up lithium ion/lithium polymer batteries. Micro LiPo USB charger connected with 2 pin JST cable facilitate as portable USB based power solution. Board can be connect to any USB port on one end and 3.7V/4.2V lithium polymer or lithium ion battery into the JST plug on the other end. There are two LED's, one red and one green to indicate battery charge status. The charging is performed in three stages, first a preconditioning, then a constant current fast charge and finally constant voltage trickle charge to keep the battery topped up. The charge current is 100mA by default. User can easily change it over to 500mA mode by soldering jumper on the back and can charge batteries with 500mAh or greater capacity.
