The 3-640443-2 is a 8-way 1-row Economy Power Connector Assembly with matte tin-plated copper alloy contacts. The wire-to-board connector comes with nylon housing and locking lance. This MTA-100 connector accepts 28AWG discrete and ribbon cable wire. Only one wire to be terminated into an IDC contact slot. It can be used with MTA-100 headers. Benefits derived from the MTA-100 system include increased quality and ease of handling such as one-step assembly, no wire stripping, no contact damage, reduced wiring errors, simpler tooling, simple maintenance and repair.
