Product Overview
The 58430-1 is a Repair Tool designed to insert wires into insulation displacement contact (IDC) slots of AMPLIMITE 0.050-inch series cable plug and receptacle. The repair tool which resembles a small screwdriver and features a specifically designed tip which allows the wire to be correctly inserted into the IDC slots of the connector. The tool is most often used when a wire insertion has not been made during the termination process of a machine.
