Product Overview
AD5697R a nanoDAC+™ family, low power, dual, 12bit buffered voltage output digital-to-analog converter (DAC). This also incorporates a power-on reset circuit and a RSTSEL pin that ensures that the DAC outputs power up to zero scale or midscale and remain there until a valid write takes place. It contains a per channel power-down feature that reduces the current consumption of the device to 4µA at 3V while in power-down mode. It uses a versatile 2-wire serial interface that operates at clock rates up to 400KHz and includes a VLOGIC pin intended for 1.8V/3V/5V logic. Application includes base station power amplifiers, process controls (programmable logic controller [PLC] I/O cards), industrial automation, data acquisition systems.

- Capacitive load stability is 2nF (typ, RL = ∞, L = 2kohm, CL = 200pF)
- Power-up time is 2.5µs (typ, coming out of power-down mode, VDD = 5V, RL = 2kohm, CL = 200pF)
