Product Overview
ADA4570 is an anisotropic magneto resistive (AMR) sensor with integrated signal conditioning amplifier and analog-to-digital converter (ADC) driver. This device produces two differential analog outputs that indicate the angular position of the surrounding magnetic field. It consists of two die within one package, an AMR sensor, and a fixed gain instrumentation amplifier. The output voltage range is ratiometric to the supply voltage. The sensor contains two Wheatstone bridges, at a relative angle of 45° to one another. A complete rotation of a dipole magnet produces two periods on the sinusoidal outputs. It is widely used in application such as absolute position measurement (linear and angle), brushless dc motor control and positioning, actuator control and positioning, contactless angular measurement and detection, magnetic angular position sensing etc.

- Negligible hysteresis, SAR or Σ-Δ ADC compatible
- Output noise is 850µV rms typical at (bandwidth = 80KHz, referred to output)
- Temperature compensated AMR bridge
- EMI resistant, fault diagnostics
- Single chip solution, phase error is 0.85° typical
- Operating voltage range is 2.7V to 5.5V
- Operating temperature is -40°C to +150°C
- Package style is 8-lead narrow [SOIC-N]
