Product Overview
HMC284AMS8GE is a low cost SPDT switch. The design has been optimized to provide high isolation with minimal insertion loss for medium and low power applications. On-chip circuitry allows positive voltage control operation at very low DC currents with control inputs compatible with CMOS and most TTL logic families. In the “OFF” state, RF1 and RF2 are non-reflective. It is widely used in applications such as cellular/PCS base stations, 2.4GHz ISM, 3.5GHz wireless local loop etc.
- Insertion loss is 0.5dB typ at (DC - 2GHz, TA = +25°C)
- Isolation is 45dB typ at (DC - 2GHz, TA = +25°C)
- Input power for 1dB compression is 30dBm typ at (0.5GHz - 1GHz, TA = +25°C)
- Input third order intercept is 50dBm typ at (0.5GHz - 3.5GHz, TA = +25°C)
- Switching speed is 5ns typ at (TA = +25°C, Vctl = 0/+5Vdc)
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C
