Product Overview
LTC1451 is complete single supply, rail-to-rail voltage output 12bit digital-to-analog converter. It includes an output buffer amplifier and an easy-to-use 3-wire cascadable serial interface. The device has an onboard reference of 2.048V and a full-scale output of 4.095V. It operates from a single 4.5V to 5.5V supply. The low power supply current makes this device ideal for battery-powered applications. Applications include digital calibration, industrial process control, automatic test equipment and cellular telephones.

- 5V operation, ICC: 400µA typically
- Built-in reference of 2.048V
- Power-on reset, 3-wire cascadable serial interface
- Maximum DNL error of 0.5LSB, maximum integral nonlinearity of ±3.5LSB at TA = 25°C
- Schmitt trigger on clock input allows direct optocoupler interface
- Offset error of ±12mV maximum at TA = 25°C
- Supply current of 400µA at 4.5V ≤ VCC ≤ 5.5V
- 8-lead PDIP package, 0°C to 70°C operating temperature range
