Product Overview
The MAX708ESA+ is a low cost microprocessor (μP) supervisory circuit in 8 pin NSOIC package. This supervisory circuit reduces the complexity and number of components required to monitor power supply and battery functions in μP systems. It significantly improves system reliability and accuracy compared to separate ICs or discrete components. The MAX708 is used in computers, controllers, intelligent instruments and critical μP power monitoring applications.
- Supply voltage range from 1.2V to 5.5V
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C
- Supervisory function integration significantly improves system reliability & reduces board space
- Reset valid to VCC = 1V
- Reset pulse width of 200ms and reset threshold voltage of 4.4V
- Debounced TTL/CMOS compatible manual reset input
- Active-high, push-pull and Active-low, push-pull reset output
- Supply current is 50μA
