Product Overview
ADM00865 is a MCP1665 12V output boost regulator evaluation board that provides a platform to evaluate the MCP1665 device in a typical boost topology. It also provides a reference for component selection and layout practices critical to switching regulator implementations.
- Typical 12V output when supplied from a low input voltage
- 3V to 5V input range with VIN less than VOUT
- 1A maximum output current at 12V from 5V input
- Enabled state selectable using EN jumper
- Light-load power saving method is selectable by toggling the MODE switch
- 2.9V UVLO start and 2.7V UVLO stop
- PWM/PFM operation
- 500kHz PWM switching frequency
- 3.6A peak input current limit
- Internal compensation, soft start and thermal protection
