The 5206478-1 is a D-sub Clamshell Kit with textured finish black thermoplastic clamp housing and stainless steel retainer clip. The shell kit also comes with black thermoplastic gates, zinc plated steel pan head screws, zinc plated steel #6-32 set screw and zinc plated steel #6-32 square nut. The straight (180°)/45° exit cable clamp can be used on either a plug or receptacle and will not interfere with commonly used hardware, such as male screw retainers, female screw-locks or spring latches and latching blocks. Its hinged construction allows easy assembly to a harness. Also, the straight or 45° angle of the cable exit is achieved by merely positioning the cable support gate for the desired angle prior to installing the assembly onto the plug or receptacle. Adjustable screws are used to tighten cable strain reliefs.
