Aperçu du produit
AD7960 is an 18bit, 5MSPS, charge redistribution successive approximation (SAR), analog-to-digital converter (ADC). The SAR architecture allows unmatched performance both in noise and linearity. This contains a low-power, high-speed, 18bit sampling ADC, an internal conversion clock, and an internal reference buffer. On the CNV± edge, this samples the voltage difference between the IN+ and IN− pins. The voltages on these pins swing in opposite phases between 0 V and 4.096V and between 0V and 5V. The reference voltage is applied to the part externally. Application includes digital imaging systems, digital X-rays, computed tomography, IR cameras, MRI gradient control, high speed data acquisition, spectroscopy, and test equipment.
- Typical throughput rate is 5MSPS (VDD1=5V, VDD2=1.8V, VIO=1.8V, REF=5V or 4.096V)
- Minimum resolution is 18bits (VDD1=5V, VDD2=1.8V, VIO=1.8V, REF=5V or 4.096V)
- Excellent ac and dc performance
- Typical dynamic range is 100dB (VDD1=5V, VDD2=1.8V, VIO=1.8V, REF=5V or 4.096V)
- Typical signal-to-noise ratio is 99dB (VDD1=5V, VDD2=1.8V, VIO=1.8V, REF=5V or 4.096V)
- Typical total harmonic distortion is −117dB (VDD1=5V, VDD2=1.8V, VIO=1.8V, REF=5V or 4.096V)
- Typical signal-to-noise ratio is 99dB (VDD1=5V, VDD2=1.8V, VIO=1.8V, REF=5V or 4.096V)
- Minimum complete cycle is 200ns (VDD1=5V, VDD2=1.8V, VIO=1.8V, REF=5V or 4.096V)
- Temperature rating range from -45°C to +85°C
