ADRF5023 is a non-reflective, single-pole double-throw (SPDT) switch manufactured in the silicon process. It 3 requires a positive supply of 3.3V and a negative supply of −3.3V. The device employs complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS)-/low voltage transistor to transistor logic (LVTTL)-compatible controls. It can also operate with a single positive supply voltage (VDD) applied while the negative supply voltage (VSS) is tied to the ground. In this operating condition, the small signal performance is maintained while the switching characteristics, linearity, and power handling performance is derated. Applications include test and instrumentation, cellular Infrastructure 5G millimeter wave, military radios, radars, and electronic countermeasures (ECMs), microwave radios and very small aperture terminals (VSATs), and industrial scanner.

• Typical insertion loss is 0.9dB (9KHz to 18GHz, between RFC and RF1/RF2, TCASE = 25°C)
• Typical return loss is 20dB (9KHz to 18GHz, RFC and RF1/RF2 (On), TCASE = 25°C)
• Typical rise and fall time is 0.5μs (10% to 90% of RF output, TCASE = 25°C)
• Typical 0.1dB power compression is 31dBm ( f= 1MHz to 40GHz, VDD = 3.3V, VSS = −3.3V, TCASE = 25°C)
• Typical positive supply current is 150µA (VDD = 3.3V, VSS = −3.3V, TCASE = 25°C)
• Positive supply voltage range from 3.15 to 3.45V (VDD = 3.3V, VSS = −3.3V, TCASE = 25°C)
• Maximum through path is 30dBm (RF signal is applied to the RFC or through connected RF1/RF2)
• Maximum hot switching is 30dBm (RF signal is applied to the RFC while switching between RF1/RF2)
• 20-lead LGA package, temperature range from -40°C to +85°C
