MAX14932AAWE+ is a 4-channel, digital isolator. It offers all three possible unidirectional channel configurations to accommodate any 4-channel design including SPI, RS-232, RS-485, and digital I/O applications. Independent 1.71V to 5.5V supplies on each side of the isolator also make the device suitable for use as level translator. It is approved by UL according to UL1577, cUL according to CSA bulletin 5A, VDE 0884-10. It is used in applications such as fieldbus communications for industrial automation, isolated SPI, RS-232, RS-485/RS-422, general multichannel isolation applications, battery management, medical systems.
- Withstands up to 3.75KVRMS for 60s (VISO), continuously withstands 443VRMS (VIOWM)
- 630VP repetitive peak voltage (VIORM), withstands ±10kV surge per IEC 61000-4-5
- VDDA operating supply voltage range from 1.71V to 5.5V
- Supply current is 5.2mA typical at (500KHz square wave, VDDA = 5V)
- Input capacitance is 2pF typical at (VDDA - VGNDA = +1.71V to +5.5V)
- Glitch rejection is 32ns typical at (VDDA - VGNDA = +1.71V to +5.5V)
- Propagation delay is 38.2ns typical at (4.5V ≤ VDDA, VDDB ≤ 5.5V)
- Common-mode transient immunity is 25kV/µs typical at (TA = +25°C)
- 2/2 channel configuration, 1Mbps data rate, default high output, 2.75KVRMS isolation voltage
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to +125°C, 16-pin wide SOIC package
