AR25-AC25 is an accuracy calibration station for AR25 series rotary reflective encoder. The AR25 encoder ASIC, when subjected to assembly misalignment, may report high accuracy error. Depending on the mounting condition, typical factors which contribute to the accuracy error are: motor shaft radial run out, encoder code wheel-to-hub eccentricity, and hub-to-motor shaft eccentricity. The AR25 Once-Around-Correction (OAC) feature compensates the mounting assembly error electronically and ease the encoder manufacturing process. This accuracy calibration station is developed as a reference design and tool to enable customers to perform accuracy calibration on the AR25 encoders to the required optimum accuracy performance.
