KFD0-SCS-EX1.55 is a model KFD0 galvanic barrier that provides complete isolation for communication with Dwyer® intrinsically safe transmitters approved for use in hazardous areas. This galvanic barrier eliminates the need for a high integrity earth ground required when using shunt type diode type safety barriers. Unlike most other isolators, the Model KFD0-SCSEX1.55 does not require external power and has a low current draw.
- Designed to mount on most standard DIN rails
- Approved for use in hazardous areas
- Used to isolate voltages for intrinsically safe applications for HHT series
- Maximum power dissipation is 150mW at 20mA and V <lt/>24V
- Temperature limits of -4 to 140°F (-20 to 60°C)
- Temperature drift of ≤ 0.5µA/°C
- FM for class I, zone 1, grp IIC, IIB, IIA; class I, II, III, div. 2, grp A, B, C, D, F, G approval
- Loop powered, intrinsically safe isolators
