RLN42-8M2B is a RLN42 NAMUR isolating amplifier designed for safe operation of proximity switches according to EN 60947-5-6 (NAMUR) as well as open and mechanical contacts with resistive coupling elements. It has a universal power supply (24 to 230VAC/DC) and one relay output (changeover) per channel. The device is approved for intrinsically safe (Ex i) circuits up to zone 0 (gas) and zone 20 (dust) in the Ex area. RLN42 can be used in safety equipment up to SIL 2 in accordance with IEC 61508.

- Compact housing width with 17.5 mm (0.69 in) for efficient use of space
- Galvanic 3-way isolation
