46-1700 is a Wire Armour™ general purpose electrical tape (10 piece). A 7 mil (0.18mm) general purpose grade, pressure sensitive vinyl tape for all kinds of mechanical and electrical applications. It can be used as primary insulation for splices up to 600V. It uses as protective outer jacket over splices and for general repair work.
- Weather resistant, good dielectric strength and elasticity
- Flame retardant, UL and CSA listed
- Resistant to sun, water, oil, acids, alkalis and corrosive chemicals
- 3/4inch wide x .007" x 60' long
- 1,000feet length, black color, 16oz/in adhesion strength
- 600V maximum rated voltage, 16lb/in tensile strength
- Good elasticity up to 200% for ease of application
- Temperature range from 0°C to 80°C
