Rugged visual fault locator kit designed to detect fibre breakpoints, fibre leaks, poor connections and stress points, this rugged visual fault locator is perfect for field personnel detecting faults in fibre optic cables.
- 650nm class IIIA laser diode identifies faults in single and multi-mode fibre up to 3miles long
- Works in OTDR dead zones and is used for end to end visual fibre identification
- Protective sleeve can be rotated to keep power button safe from being accidently pressed
- Light and portable pen-style design with rugged aluminium housing
- 60 hours of battery life powered by two AA batteries (included)
- Includes adapters for 1.5mm and 2.5mm ferruled connectors as well as an LC adapter for LC connectors
- Has 3 different modes with constant output power: continuous wave, pulsing and slower pulsing mode
