The U1816A from Keysight Technologies is a DC to 8GHz dual SP6T USB coaxial switch. This is a USB-controlled switch matrix that consists of two single-pole-six-throw (SP6T) switches. It allows switching of multiple signal paths without physically changing the connections. This allows multiple tests to be performed with the same setup, eliminating the need for frequent connects and disconnects. An entire testing process can be automated, increasing the throughput in high volume production environments.

- 5 million cycles operating life (typ 10 million cycles)
- Insertion loss (max) is 0.3dB + 0.015 x frequency (GHz)
- Isolation (min) of 100dB, reduces cost of test and ensures reliability of test system
- 0.03dB maximum insertion loss repeatability (up to 5 million cycles measured at 25°C)
- SMA (f) connectors, USB drive method, < 15ms switching time
- Dimension is 103.8mm x 232.6mm x 245mm (4.09" x 9.16" x 9.65")
