ICR2344 is an USB 2.0 Ranger® 2344 4-port single mode duplex LC USB extender system. It extends high-speed USB 2.0 connections up to 10km using single mode fiber. The Ranger 2344 is ideal for extending USB peripherals and supports USB 2.0 throughputs up to 480Mbps. The 2344 provides 4 USB 2.0 ports at the REX unit. An SFP Duplex LC slot is used for both the LEX and REX units. This ExtremeUSB® based fiber extender system is FCC/CE class B certified. This USB extender requires AC power (included) at the REX end. It is ideal for extending USB peripherals including keyboards, mice, interactive whiteboards, flash drives, hard drives, audio devices, web cameras, and any other USB device across a dedicated fiber optic connection. Typical applications are industrial control, medical device connectivity, security: webcam, access control, POS, and sensor/data acquisition.
