LPXTRJ45-GBPOE+ is a data surge protector (also known as SPD or lightning protector). It is an indoor style SPD that utilizes state of the art GDT technology to protect critical equipment in 10/100/1000Base-T IEEE 802.3at protocol data networks, while remaining transparent to data throughput and passing DC power through. This surge protector provides effective protection against electrical transient surges that are generated both by external lightning events and by internal switching events, and supports long-term system reliability by safely shunting high amounts of transient energy while maintaining a very low clamping voltage. Application includes intra-building cable runs, VoIP telephone, 10/100/1000 base-T Ethernet equipment IP, network or web cameras, wireless access points, servers and routers.
