The SST-006-6025-CLR is a clear single wall Heat Shrink Tubing made of fluorinated ethylene propylene (FEP) and offers 1.67:1 shrink ratio. The heat shrink tubing provides the chemical and thermal characteristics of PTFE as well as the shrinking ability over inserted objects with exposure to moderate heat. Partial shrinkage occurs at 250°F with complete recovery at 450°F, with uses including soldered joints, parts, components and fittings made of plastic, metal or wood. During the shrink process on long objects, excess growth may cause wrinkles unless the tubing is allowed to slide forward over the object.
