MCF52259CAG80 is a ColdFire microcontroller. This 32-bit device is based on the Version 2 cold fire core operating at a frequency upto 80MHz, offering high performance and low power consumption. On-chip memories connected tightly to the processor core include upto 512Kb of flash memory and 64Kb of static random access memory (SRAM). This on-chip module includes V2 cold fire core delivering 76MIPS (Dhrystone 2.1) at 80MHz running from internal flash memory with an enhanced multiply-accumulate (MAC) unit and hardware divider. It features a cryptography acceleration unit (CAU), fast ethernet controller (FEC), eight-channel 12bit fast analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with simultaneous sampling. four-channel general-purpose timer (GPT) capable of input capture/output compare, pulse width modulation (PWM), pulse-code modulation (PCM), and pulse accumulation.
