SNAP-AITM-8

The SNAP-AITM-8 is an Analog Input Module provides eight channels of thermocouple or millivolt input. Each channel can be individually configured to accept a type B, C, D, E, G, J, K, N, R, S or T thermocouple or a -75 to 75mV, -50 to 50mV or -25 to 25mV input. The part of the SNAP PAC System, the module mounts on a SNAP PAC rack with a SNAP PAC brain or rack-mounted controller. Analog, digital and serial I/O modules can all be on the same rack. Such an I/O unit is also well suited for PC-based control or for use as intelligent remote I/O for an Allen-Bradley RSLogix PLC system, such as ControlLogix, MicroLogix or CompactLogix. The SNAP-AITM-8 works with SNAP PAC brains and R-series controllers only. Like all SNAP analog input modules, the SNAP-AITM-8 provides transformer isolation to reduce noise and installation problems and 4000V optical isolation (4000V of transient protection for 1ms) from other modules on the same mounting rack. Used with an Opto 22 SNAP PAC controller.
