The 12388 (260-8) CAL DU from Simpson is a 260-8 general purpose volt-ohm-milliammeter. Nothing beats a Simpson 260-8 for monitoring fluctuating trends and rates. It is portable yet with benchtop accuracy and it is ideal for use anywhere like workshop, lab or in the field. The instrument can be used to make accurate measurements of AC and DC voltage, direct current, resistance, decibels and Output Voltage. The output voltage function is used for measuring the AC component of a mixture of AC and DC voltage as well as resistance testing. It has a 1.5V D, 9V (Neda No.13F, 1604A) battery, F1 1A, 250V, type 3AG, quick acting Littlefuse type 312001, F2 2A, 600V Littlefuse type BLS or 2A 600V, Bussman type BBS fuse. This VOM is intended as general purpose measuring instruments for use in low power circuitry such as found in consumer appliances, TV and radio receivers and in general laboratory applications.
