Product Overview
MS-836 is a mid span slit and ring tool for RocketRibbon® cable. It is designed to provide easy access to optical ribbon fibers in Corning’s RocketRibbon® cable. Building on the popularity of the Jonard Tools MS-6 and MS-26 Fiber Optic Mid Span Slitting Tools, this product incorporated a ring feature in the tool to make it even more versatile. This tool was specially designed for use on Corning RocketRibbon® cables.
- Consists of 4 precision slitting grooves and 4 precision ring grooves range 11.6 to 22.6mm
- One side of the tool performs radial/ring cuts and the other side slits the cable (longitudinal cut)
- Indicator line on top of the unit indicates the position of the blade for accurate slitting, ringing
- Blades last for 5,000 slits or rings
- 4 number of sliting and ringing grooves, blue product main color
- Cable diameter range from 11.6mm to 22.6mm
- Dimension is 5.1” x 3.6” x 1.4”
