Product Overview
Replaceable active carbon filter for SOLOMAX 456DLX/426DLX/468ESD solder vapor extractor. Soldering produces solder vapors which are classified as harmful to health. Since the introduction of lead-free solders with the associated higher soldering temperatures, the fluxing agents that cause these harmful and irritating vapors are particularly aggressive. Solder vapor extractors are strongly recommended by the trade associations as well as by the Institute for Occupational Safety of the BfA.
