RD9Z1-638-4LI reference design is a battery management system (BMS) for 4-cell Li-Ion battery applications and features the NXP MM9Z1_638 battery sensor module. It demonstrates the product capabilities where high EMC performance is required. It also features an 8-pin standalone CAN transceiver to interface with other modules.
- Embedded 16-bit S12Z MCU and embedded power management
- Four voltage sensing inputs (VSENSE3 to VSENSE0), internal temperature sensing
- Battery current sensing via mounted shunt (ISENSE)
- High-speed CAN interface and LIN 2.2/2.1/2.0 interface
- BDM interface for programming and debugging
- Reference design - Xtrinsic MM9Z1-638, 4 Cell Lithium-Ion application with CAN and LIN interface
