                      Product Overview

                      R9A06G061GNP#AA0 is a narrow-band power line communication modem IC that consists of an analog front-end (AFE), DSP, and MCU. The high-performance DSP performs OFDM modulation and demodulation signal processing (PHY layer), and the MCU handles protocol conversion to/from the host interface. R9A06G061 enables high-speed and stable long-distance communication in Peer-to-Peer (P2P) networks. Especially, R9A06G061 has improved direct drive capability in order to expand its use in DC power supply system applications. Applications include high-speed & long-distance power line communication units for AC line/DC lines, central vacuum cleaners, metered electric vehicle charging stations, network systems for building automation, and smoke detectors for commercial buildings.

                      • High-performance DSP: Handle PHY layer, etc. of power line communication
                      • High-performance DSP: maximum operating frequency is 276MHz, IRAM: 128Kb, DRAM: 128Kb
                      • MCU (Arm® Cortex®-M0+): Handle protocol conversion processing for the external MCU interface etc
                      • MCU (Arm® Cortex®-M0+): Maximum operating frequency is 92MHz, RAM: 32Kb
                      • Equipped with analog front-end (AFE) circuit
                      • UART (1ch), SPIs (1ch), serial flash IF (single/dual), clock output
                      • Built-in regulator: 3.3V input, 1.15V DC/DC converter
                      • 3.3V typical supply voltage, 200ns max input rise/ fall time (data)
                      • Operating ambient temperature range from -40°C to +85°C
                      • 40-pin QFN package
