Product Overview
SD-996C-NUQ is a universal electric door strike for metal and wood doors. It can be used with virtually any cylindrical-locking system and can be configured for use in wood, aluminum, or metal doors. The three different-sized faceplates are included that can be easily installed on the strike to match the specific type of door frame.
- UL 294 and UL 1034 listed
- Includes 3 faceplates for nearly any door type
- Field-selectable for fail-safe or fail-secure operation
- Field-selectable dual-voltage 12 or 24V DC ±15% operation
- Powered by a solenoid
- Reversible non-handed design fits either right-hand or left-hand doors
- Low profile: strike is only 1-1/4″ deep for use with hollow aluminum frames
- 280mA at 12V DC, 140mA at 24V DC current draw
- Operating temperature range from -10ºC to 45ºC
- Dimension is 4-7/8″ x 1-1/4″ aluminum, 4-7/8″ x 1-1/4″ hollow metal, 7-15/16″ x 1-7/16″ wood
