9610 is a plug bug 2 GCFI tester. It checks 3-wire electrical outlets for proper wiring and identifies 5 wiring faults. The fault charts are located on both sides of the tester so that it can easily be used on receptacles in “ground up” or “ground down” installations. It detects correct wiring and 5 common wiring problems: open ground, open neutral, open hot, hot/ground reverse, hot/neutral reverse.

Warnings

This tester will not test GFCI’s installed on 2 wire (non-grounded) electrical circuit. All corrective action must be made by a qualified electrician.
