VQ24S30YP100 is a QSFP+ to 4x SFP+ high speed passive copper cable. This passive copper cable assembly is a cost effective, low-power alternative to optical modules for short reach links in high speed interconnect applications. The cables enable 40G QSFP+ breakout to 4x 10+G SFP+ ports, optimizing data center solutions for connecting 40G Ethernet ports to 10G Ethernet switches and adaptors. This is fully shielded by design utilizing a combination of shielded twin axial cable and robust die cast housings with actuating pull latch. For added robustness, the oversold technique used in fabrication for this cable provides additional strain relief and minimizes conductor pistoning. Applications include Ethernet 10G, 40G, fiber channel 8G, 14G, rapid IO, myrinet 40G, networking, storage, hubs, switches, routers, and servers, SFF-8419, SFF 8436, SFF-8432 (electrical), SFF-8661, SFF-8472 (mechanical), SFF-8636, IEEE P802.3ba (memory map) standard.
