                      Product Overview

                      ADL5507ACBZ is a complete, low-power, wide-band logarithmic RF power detector for the measurement of RF signals in the 10MHz to 12GHz frequency range. This device is optimized for accurate RF signal level measurements over a 55dB dynamic range, from -56dBm to -1dBm at 3.6GHz, when terminated with 50 ohm. It provides a wider dynamic range and better accuracy than is possible using discrete diode detectors. Its high sensitivity allows the measurement of low power levels, thus reducing the amount of power that needs to be coupled to the detector. The output interface has sufficient capability to drive a wide range of analogue‐to‐digital converters (ADCs) and other circuitry. It is used in applications such as RSSI and TSSI for wired and wireless terminal devices, RF transmitter or receiver power measurement, and wide-band automatic gain control.

                      • 55dB typical dynamic range (±1dB error at 3.6GHz RF input)
                      • Positive/negative output slope response controlled by ENBL pin
                      • Rise time is 200ns typical at (+ slope mode (ENBL = VPOS), PRFIN = off to -25dBm)
                      • Supply current (on, + slope mode) is 12.5mA typical at (ENBL = VPOS)
                      • Shutdown current is <100µA typical at (ENBL = 0V)
                      • Output noise spectral density is 270nV/√Hz typ at (+ slope mode (ENBL = VPOS))
                      • Input resistance is 50 ohm typical at (f = 0.1GHz, 51 ohm shunt resistor at RFIN)
                      • Operating temperature range from -40°C to +105°C, 6-ball WLCSP package
