Product Information
Product Overview
ADSP-21364 is a SHARC processor. It is a member of the SIMD SHARC family of DSPs that feature Analog Devices, Inc., super harvard architecture. This floating-point processor optimized for high performance automotive audio applications. This contain a large on-chip SRAM and ROM, multiple internal buses to eliminate I/O bottlenecks, and an innovative digital audio interface (DAI). It uses two computational units to deliver a significant performance increase over the previous SHARC processors on a range of signal processing algorithms.
- 333MHz instruction rate, 3M bit on chip SRAM, 4M bit ROM
- Single-instruction, multiple-data (SIMD) computational architecture
- Code compatible with all other members of the SHARC family
- S/PDIF-compatible digital audio receiver/transmitter
- 8 channels of asynchronous sample rate converters
- 16 PWM outputs configured as four groups of four outputs
- JTAG access to memory permitted with a 64bit key
- Protected memory region that can be assigned to limit access under program control to sensitive code
- PLL has a wide variety of software and hardware multiplier/divider ratios
- 144 lead LQFP-EP package, operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C
