Product Information
Product Overview
The MAX6631MTT+T is a 12bit + sign digital temperature sensor with serial interface in 6 pin TDFN package. Temperature is converted to a 12bit + sign word with a resolution of 0.0625°C/LSB. An extended temperature range provides useful readings up to +150°C, 3-wire serial interface SPI compatible allowing device to be readily connected to variety of microcontrollers (μCs) and is read-only device, simplifying its use in systems where only temperature data is required. All four digital temperature sensors require very little supply current making them ideal for portable systems. It performs a temperature to digital conversion once every 8s and require minimal average supply current of 32μA (typ) supply current. This temperature sensor can perform conversions more often up to approximately four conversions per second by reading the conversion results more often. It is used in cellular, hard disk drive, HVACs and systems.
- Supply voltage range is 3V to 5.5V
- Operating temperature range from -55°C to 125°C
- Maximum power supply sensitivity is 0.6°C/V
- Conversion time is 250ms (typ)
- Power-on reset (POR) threshold is 1.6V (typ)
- Maximum serial clock frequency is 5MHz
