S4BE30-450-S is a S4B safety light curtain (emitter) which provides a redundant, microprocessor-controlled, opposed-mode optoelectronic safety light screen. S4B typically is used for point-of-operation safeguarding, and is suited to safeguard a variety of machinery. The S4B safety light curtain (emitter) has a row of synchronized modulated infrared (invisible) light-emitting diodes (LEDs) in a compact housing.

• 35ms typical non-sync beam blocked (recovery time, OSSDs OFF to ON)
• 65ms typical, 337ms maximum all beams blocked (recovery time, OSSDs OFF to ON)
• Removable disconnect connection

• FMEA tested to ensure control reliability, safety PLC input compatible (per OSSD specifications)
• Highly immune to EMI, RFI, ambient light, weld flash, and strobe light
