AD842 is a member of the Analog Devices, Inc. family of wide bandwidth operational amplifier. This device is fabricated using the Analog Device junction isolated complementary bipolar (CB) process. This process permits a combination of dc precision and wideband ac performance previously unobtainable in a monolithic op-amp. This amplifier is ideally suited for use in high frequency signal conditioning circuits and wide bandwidth active filters. The extremely rapid settling time of the AD842 makes this amplifier the preferred choice for data acquisition applications requiring 12bit accuracy. It is also appropriate for other applications, such as high speed DAC and ADC buffer amplifiers and other wide bandwidth circuitry. Application includes line drivers, DAC and ADC buffers, video and pulse amplifiers.

• Fast settling is 100ns to 0.01% for a 10V step
• Slew rate is 375V/µs (typ, AVCL = -2, TA = 25°C)
• Full power bandwidth is 6MHz (typ, VOUT = 20V p-p, RLOAD ≥ 499ohm)
• Input offset voltage is 0.5mV (typ, TMIN to TMAX, TA = 25°C)
• Offset drift is 14µV/°C (typ, TA = 25°C, TMIN to TMAX)
• Input voltage noise is 9nV/√Hz (typ, f = 1KHz, 10Hz to 10MHz)
• Open-loop gain is 90V/mV (typ, VOUT = ±10V, RLOAD ≥ 499ohm, TMIN to TMAX)
• Output current is 100mA (min), quiescent supply currents 14mA (max)
• 14 lead PDIP package, operating temperature range from 0°C to 70°C
