HMC634LC4 is a GaAs PHEMT MMIC driver amplifier that operates between 5 and 20GHz. The amplifier provides up to 21dB of gain, +29dBm output IP3, and +22dBm of output power at 1dB gain compression, while requiring 180mA from a +5V supply. This is an ideal driver amplifier for microwave radio applications from 5 to 20GHz, and may be biased at +5V, 130mA to provide lower gain with optimized PAE. The amplifier’s I/Os are DC blocked and matched to 50 ohms with no external matching required. Application includes point-to-point radios, point-to-multi-point radios and VSAT, LO driver for mixers and military and space. The only external parts required are the input and output ac coupling capacitors, power supply decoupling capacitors, and bias inductor.
