MAX9119EXK+T is a nanopower comparator. The unique design of the output stage limits supply-current surges while switching, virtually eliminating the supply glitches typical of many other comparators. This design also minimizes overall power consumption under dynamic conditions. It has a push-pull output stage that sinks and sources current. Large internal-output drivers allow rail-to-rail output swing with loads up to 5mA. Applications include 2-cell battery monitoring/management, ultra-low-power systems, mobile communications, notebooks and PDAs, threshold detectors/discriminators, sensing at ground or supply line, telemetry and remote systems, medical instruments.
- Guaranteed to operate down to +1.6V
- Input voltage range extends 200mV beyond-the-rails
- Crowbar-current-free switching, internal hysteresis for clean switching
- No phase reversal for overdriven inputs
- Supply voltage range from 1.6 to 5.5V at TA=+25°C, inferred from the PSRR test
- Supply current is 0.60µA at TA=+25°C, VCC=1.6V
- Input bias current is 0.15nA at TA=+25°C
- Power-supply rejection ratio is 0.1mV/V at VCC=1.6V to 5.5V, TA=+25°C
