The 135A from Beehive Electronics is an RF helmholtz coil. It generates a controlled, well defined magnetic field between its coils. This magnetic field can be used to calibrate magnetic field probes or to generate a controlled field for testing other devices. The 135A is optimized for high frequency performance and is usable up to 30MHz. It includes fixturing to precisely hold the Beehive Electronics 100A, 100B and 100C EMC probes so that the user may measure the sensitivity of the probes and calculate their calibration factors. Mounting holes are provided to allow the user to fixture other devices inside the helmholtz coil. The gain is 1.45* 10^-5 tesla/ampere (expressed as flux density/current), 11.54m^-1 (expressed as magnetic field strength/current). This coil has loop diameter of 4.88inch (123.9mm), loop spacing of 2.44” (62mm) and overall dimensions 2.5” (63mm) x 6” (152mm) x 6” (152mm) (H x W x D).
