ACPL-217-56CE is a DC-input, half-pitch phototransistor optocoupler. This single-channel phototransistor optocoupler contains a light-emitting diode optically coupled to a phototransistor. Applications include I/O interface for programmable controllers, computers, sequence controllers, system appliances, measuring instruments, signal transmission between circuits of different potentials and impedances.

- Forward voltage is 1.2V typ at IF=20mA, TA=25°C
- Reverse current is 10µA max at VR=5V, TA=25°C
- Terminal capacitance is 30pF typ at V=0, f=1MHz, TA=25°C
- Collector dark current is 100nA max at VCE=48V, IF=0mA, TA=25°C
- Current transfer ratio is 600% max at IF=5mA, VCE=5V, TA=25°C
- Response time (rise) is 2µs typ at VCC=10V, IC=2mA, RL=100 ohm, TA=25°C
