ADR512 is a 1.2V precision low noise shunt voltage reference. This device’s advanced design eliminates the need for an external capacitor, yet it is stable with any capacitive load. The minimum operating current increases from a scant 100µA to a maximum of 10mA. This low operating current and ease of use make the device ideally suited for handheld battery-powered applications. A TRIM terminal is available on the device to provide adjustment of the output voltage over ±0.5% without affecting the temperature coefficient of the device. This feature provides users with the flexibility to trim out any system errors. It is widely used in application such as precision data acquisition systems, battery-powered equipment, cellular phone, notebook computer, PDA, and GPS, 3V/5V, 8-/12bit data converters, portable medical instruments, industrial process control systems, precision instruments etc.

• Low output noise is 4µV p-p typical at (0.1Hz to 10Hz)
• Initial accuracy is ±0.3% maximum at (IIN = 100µA to 10mA at TA = 25°C)
• Temperature coefficient is 60ppm/°C maximum at (IIN = 100µA to 10mA at TA = 25°C)
• Output impedance is 0.3ohm maximum at (IN = 1mA ± 100µA)
• Output voltage hysteresis is 50ppm typical at (IIN = 100µA to 10mA at TA = 25°C)
• Operating temperature is -40°C to +85°C
• Package style is 3-lead SOT-23
