CT2000

The CT2000 from Chemtronics is a Cotton tips™ swabs. It consists of cotton fibres which are tightly wrapped around a wooden handle. Because of the tightly wrapped head, there is very little linting. These swabs have excellent absorbency, as well as high strength especially when saturated with water. This swab is designed for cleaning applications where absorbency is critical. Cotton tips™ swabs are compatible with most common solvents such as isopropyl alcohol, methanol and ketones such as acetone. The cotton head is also compatible with bases and weak or dilute acids. The Cotton tips™ swab can be used to clean equipment and machinery especially in small crevices or openings, remove flux residues from PCBs, apply adhesives or cleaning fluids and absorb liquid chemical residues.
