MP011264 float sensor, also known as a float switch, is a device used to detect the level of liquid within a container or reservoir. It operates based on the principle of buoyancy, where a floating object (the float) rises or falls with the liquid level, triggering a switch mechanism to indicate the presence or absence of liquid at a specific level.
- Vertical, normally closed, float sensor switch
- Polypropylene white housing, mains voltage variant
- FDA test passed, covers a wide range of applications
- Contact form is B, 50W/VA maximum contact rating
- Maximum switching voltage is 200VDC, 250VAC
- 1.5A maximum switching current, 150mohm maximum total resistance
- Operating temperature range from -20 to +80°C
- White, UL 1007, AWG 22, 4mm stripped and tinned cable
- When mounted stem up, operating functions are reversed
- 0.7g / cm3 typical density of float
