The IL485E is a galvanically isolated RS485 high-speed Differential Bus Transceiver Interface designed for bidirectional data communication on balanced transmission lines. This has current limiting and thermal shutdown features to protect against output short circuits and bus contention situations that could cause excessive power dissipation.
